Mike Leible was a beloved sports coach, youth counselor, and community leader in Glen Rock, New Jersey who believed in recreation and team sports as valuable assets in life. A famous ad executive by day, he spent countless nights and weekends as a friend and advisor to so many who needed help. He was a mentor to young people and a true role model.
The “Mike Leible Field” in Glen Rock New Jersey is dedicated in his honor. Mike was a pillar of the community and for many years he was President of the Glen Rock Baseball Association as well as President of the Recreation Department. He also headed up the Borough’s Youth Guidance Council.

Attending the ceremony were numerous New Jersey dignitaries and a multitude of the late Mike Leible’s friends who came from near and far. The Glen Rock Softball League defending champion Rick’s Cabaret team played an exhibition game on the new field, and the Leible family baseball tradition continues. Mike’s son Chris is the squad’s first basemen.
