A stripper told me about the interview! It’s not salacious at all. I was at Rick’s Cabaret, the gentlemen’s club near Madison Square Garden—the club is definitely upscale—nothing embarrassing about being there.
The girls know a lot about sports—pro athletes have been known to frequent the club.
Anyway, while I was enjoying watching all the lovely ladies as they performed on stage, I momentarily glanced up at the TVs that were showing highlights from the Jets game.
Athena, a beautiful girl who dances at the club told me that a couple of Jets had been in recently, and that she heard a great interview with Jets legend Joe Namath prior to Sunday’s game.
She told me that she loves football and never misses “Sid Sports Sunday.”
I told her I would check it out, and she was right—Sid conducted a very informative interview with Namath and I heard things that surprised me.
Rosenberg’s main gig is the daily “Bernie and Sid” morning drive show on WABC Radio 770AM. Athena told me that Bernie and Sid talk about a wide range of topics and are very entertaining. “Bernie can be really insightful, and Sid can be controversial–together they have real chemistry.” I agree.
