Coca-Cola has launched coffee in a can — or Coca-Cola with Coffee — in the U.S. after several years of offering it abroad and testing similar combos here.
The new blend is dubbed a “refreshment coffee” that “sips like a coke and finishes like a coffee” Coca-Cola claims.
“Many people are often torn between reaching for a soft drink or a coffee at 3 p.m. at work, at school or on the go,” Brandon Strickland, brand director of Coca-Cola Trademark, said in a statement. “Now, you don’t need to leave Coca-Cola to get your coffee fix.”
The caffeine-packed beverage was first launched in 2018 in Japan. The US is the 50th market — and largest — to get it, the company said.
